relief

i guess there really is nothing truly "relieving" in this crazy period before A levels, but in a way i now feel like a great burden has been lifted off my chest, after coming clean and telling my closer friends what i eventually had to tell them but was unsure exactly how to.

shan't be too unambiguous and indiscriminate in discussing things here on public domain cause this is largely a memo for myself anyway! marking the end of meticulous hiding which was quite clearly beginning to fail actually :P

omg glorious glorious broth and japanese chashu which totally kill any semblance of a waist!!!

eight

so, i haven't really bothered figuring out how to tie the figure-of-eight knot as illustrated,
but the point is, don't you think it sorta looks like the infinity sign? cool huh :)

Sorry I’m the way I am. I want so much to be better, to not have to frustratedly think or say these things about myself. This is not some self-pitying sniveling session; I really just wish I could be an improved version of myself, in so many ways. It’s hard, ‘cause I’ve had it easy for so (too?) long.
I know that fair well, and often I try not to think about it but that day in the career counsellor’s office I was suddenly reminded of it upon feeling the inner uncertainty of how to sort my own affairs out independently. Like how I want to work after A’s, for the experience, but can hardly envision myself actively seeking out employment whether as a part timer somewhere or a tuition teacher, or even going to volunteer my help for worthy causes, something I’ve wanted to do and will be able to finally, after so many years of just having to happily devote myself to activities largely planned for me by others.
...I need to be more bold and less dependent and more hungry, hungry for personal growth and self-directed achievements.
I have already pretty much reached the goal of frequently reminding myself to be thankful for all that has been unreasonably bestowed upon me (and by unreasonably I mean the nature which accounts for the many circumstances that led to where I stand today, which could perhaps crudely be put down to the fact that I was born as me and okay actually it goes much earlier before that, involving other people being born and how some facts of the universe just are etc. and okay I really don’t wanna go on an endless discussion of this since that is not the point of today's post), though I admittedly still need to work on the attitude 'cause I sometimes still find myself inwardly complaining about how I wasn't given even more--it's a funny thing, isn't it, how we even can have such whingeing that allows us to convince ourselves it's unfair that someone else has been unreasonably bestowed something that we hadn't, 'cause ultimately all these gifts were undeserved or unearned in a way?
But increasingly, I also realize that beyond being thankful for what I have, it is of similarly paramount importance that I actually behave in accordance to holding that belief. And so that includes striving to not let all these unreasonable bestowments go to waste, both towards creating the life I want to lead and also giving to others who have been in severe lack of such unreasonable bestowments that they have perhaps even been unreasonably denied certain basic rights. (Though of course it might be debated if there objectively truly exists things we naturally deserve, I do believe there are at least a few)

when the time comes

some things are so hard to grasp and so easy to lose.

also, i wonder why so many people (yours truly included) seem to get a kick out of reading emo-ish or enigmatic posts. here's an example of the latter (for the uninducted, i am--perhaps childishly, but unabashedly, vehemently--anti-emo), just for cheap thrills.

aside, if i read this post a month from now i will probably have forgetten about any possible sense i was trying to make (and record) today. go figure :)

...forget it :)

I LOVE LIFE!

And we got de-invested, ahwellll

As what John C Maxwell said," Today's growth gives you potential tomorrow" How much potential you have depends on the amount of growth you have today.

Love y'all, thirtieths <3 Even if I might be damn mean at times XD But I'm only mean to people I think are cool enough for it, so HAH, take that, babes :B

c'est ta faute, je le jure

i never wanted any of this
not even for
a
moment.

so when you broke
the news
almost tenderly

it was a betrayal
of sorts

(even if you claim with fervour to have never wanted any of this too)

from one of chris' smses--
doing the bio structured qns is fun: it's like a game to see how much you can squeeze into severely limited space.

GAHHH. BIO LECTURE NOTES+TUTORIALS.

aside, i am now feeling like an alien. and nope, not in the foreigner-to-the-country way; yes i actually mean the *cue dissonant beeping noise* bluefaced-martian-pokes-head-out-of-ufo alien. haha and oui i am aware of being hardly coherent, please ignore me on the grounds of my having had a really messy 2 days that turned out well in ways more than one and if you know me you know i celebrate in strange ways <3
