more baking

i am in the midst of making mascarpone white chocolate jam tarts!

hurhur just made the tart shell dough. now waiting for dinner to cook, which is mum's charsiew. shall continue the tart shell rolling and baking after dinner.

so, mum has been telling me to record little memories from daily life for me to have stuff to look back on next time. here goes, today's little story--

dad was pleased when my answer to his question of who the tarts were for, was "for us duh!", and even more delighted when i assured him, upon further probing, that the tarts were solely for the 5 of us at home -.-

mum called him petty and i guess he didnt get over it when i previously made cookies for ding hao and dr seah first before baking a final batch for him with the remaining cookie dough hahah. but heyy in my defence i KNEW there was going to be enough for everyone! and the cookies taste just as yummy whether they were in the first batch or the last, cause the cookie dough was made all together. and to sidetrack, i don't think i will be putting another white chocolate macadamia cookie into my mouth for a long long loooong time. made too much cookie dough that time due to not thinking properly before starting all the mixing; the smell got me slightly sick after the second batch D:

anyways i really hope the tarts turn out nicely. i won't get to do much baking once school commences so i plan to bake at least 3 more times before term starts proper. not sure what to make, though!
